The Croaking Fane

Saturday Morning 10am-1pm  | Dungeon Crawl Classic, 3rd level adventurers

For as long as men remember, the Lord of Evil Amphibians carried out unspeakable rites in his squatting temples situated far from civilization. Tales of human sacrifice, squirming servants, and rich but loathsome treasures were whispered of his followers. Now, unexpectedly, his servants have seemingly vanished, leaving behind their fanes to molder in the marshes. A brave band of adventurers gathers to explore one such tabernacle, eager to discover what riches—and terrors—the Lord of Evil Amphibians has left behind…

Josh Yoder, the author of the DCC-compatible zine “H20-Pocalyse”, leads this gruesome adventure.

The Mission to the Blight

Saturday Morning 10am-about 1:30pm |  TTRPG based on Gamma World System

The Worlds of the Imperium is a custom Sci Fi Tabletop based on the Gamma World System.

The players will generate Gamma World 7.0 characters, however they won’t not start in that world.  Getting to the Imperium will be the first challenge they face.

The Worlds of the Imperium is based on the concept of multiple parallel timelines, or universes if you prefer.  Your characters will explore an alternate world where something significant has changed.  For example, what if Napoleon had won and Great Britain had fallen? Or, what if Ancient Rome never fell and was a ruling force in the world today?

Anticipate the unexpected… ideas are pulled from a great many Sci Fi and time travel storylines, and your GM, Scott Gould, has been GMing since 1976.

Alice is Missing

Saturday Night 8pm-10pm  | TTRPG custom system

A unique storytelling game that is silent, this game is played over texts on the phone.  Players portray teenagers looking for their missing friend. A card based system controls the clues and eventually the final outcome with the players figuring out how it all works together.

Alice is Missing is a silent role-playing game about the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high school junior in the small town of Silent Falls. It’s played live and without verbal communication. Players inhabit their character for the entirety of the 90-minute play session, and instead of speaking, send text messages back and forth to the other characters in a group chat, as well as individually, as though they aren’t in the same place together.

Hauntingly beautiful, deeply personal, and highly innovative, Alice is Missing puts a strong focus on the emotional engagement between players, immersing them in a tense, dramatic mystery that unfolds organically through the text messages they send to one another.

Content Warning: Because the plot centers on a missing teenager, it involves mature themes including: lack of agency, death, grief, helplessness, loss, tense family dynamics, and violence. There will be a discussion before game about safety tools. Also, we will need to share phone numbers for texting so be sure you're comfortable with sharing your number.
