When/Where is this Event?

Schedule:

  • This 3 day game will run September 4th-6th, 2026:

    • Friday, September 4th: 7 p.m. (Opening/Rules Briefing) until Midnight

    • Saturday, September 5th: 10 a.m. until Midnight with a Lunch and Dinner break

    • Sunday, September 6th: Starting after hotel check-out (11 a.m.) until around 3 p.m.*

*Note that while the Council/GMs are officially offline as of 4 p.m. on Sunday, folks tend to unofficially hang out and visit and/or play board games into Monday!

  • Information about more specific schedule items such as: Registration/Check-in desk opening, Volunteer/Decorating, and in-game schedule will be released as it becomes available (this summer).

  • Pre-game events such as Movie Nights in our Discord will also be announced on social media, so keep an eye out!

Hotel/Transportation:

  • The LARP will be at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Glen Mills/Concordville PA!

    • Address for mapping: 1110 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342

  • Hotel Pricing will be similar to our last few events: around $110-130 per night (before taxes/fees) depending on dates/room type. Please see the Hotel Information page for the booking link and up to date hotel cost information.
    • WE DO NOT RECOMMEND trying to book your room through an alternative service such as Expedia, Travelocity, etc. ahead of time. Neither we nor the staff at the Comfort Inn are able to help with any reservations made with services outside the hotel reservation link/block.

    • Booking in our block saves you money AND helps keep our Registration prices down for future events. Thank you!

  • The Comfort Inn is located close to the Philadelphia Airport (PHL), about 18 miles away, and within the vicinity of some Amtrak Stations (Wilmington DE, Philadelphia PA, local SEPTA at Wawa Station).
    • However, the hotel is NOT reachable without some kind of car transportation/ rideshare/taxi service from these locations. We recommend planning your transportation ahead of the weekend. We have also had people post in our Discord/Facebook for rideshares (DC, MA, NJ, etc.) or rides from the airport.

Hey… Are you using AI?

All narratives associated with this LARP (characters, plotlines, worldbuilding, in-game materials, and playtests) are created by human writers and designers. While we may use digital tools for spellcheck, formatting, and accessibility, all of the writing, creative direction, and storytelling are entirely human-driven (including our beloved em dashes). We work hard with creative people to bring this world to life. All artwork, past, present, and (dystopian) future, is commissioned artwork (out of Pete's pocket).

Note that while we can’t guarantee complete verification of every contributor, we make every effort to communicate our expectation is that they don’t use AI and that their work reflects genuine, original craftsmanship. The GM Team has been in constant conversation about this topic; keeping our game human is a principle that matters to us, both in the world we build and the way we build it. Especially in this story.

There is also no AI intentionally used in the design/on-site production, administration, website, or social media of this event; even if most of these platforms want to convince us to use it (ugh), we turn it off/disable it where possible. Everything your registration fee and participation goes to is a labor of love by passionate folk who believe in supporting original, creative game writing and experiences.

What about food, snacks, and alcohol?

Your registration fee will include a limited range of snacks and seltzer/soft drinks as well as water dispensers in the main spaces. You will receive a free Wilmark Dynasty reusable aluminum cup with your registration, but you may want to bring your own distinguishable reuseable plastic/metal/wooden cup* to use throughout the weekend (many people theme them to their characters!)  You are also welcome to bring/enjoy any beverages/food/snacks you prefer in the conference spaces, but as the main space will be decorated with limited "storage" space, please keep any "extras" in your hotel room.

*There is a strict NO GLASS CONTAINERS rule throughout the event space, so no glass bottles or cups (etc) are permitted.*

There is an Indian restaurant attached to the hotel, and a sushi/fusion restaurant and an Italian restaurant within a short walking distance of the Comfort Inn. Otherwise, there are a wealth of local food/delivery places around the hotel to go get and/or order during the lunch/dinner breaks and before/after game. Please be kind to our front desk staff and keep track of your delivery, as many people will have deliveries coming at the same time.

Attendees aged 21 and over may bring their own alcohol into the event space, as long as we are subtle and folks imbibe responsibly (and please decant from any glass bottles into a cup before bringing it in).  Please review our Policy Regarding Alcohol for the full list of rules.

What about prop weapons?

Any and all prop guns should be visibly fake, from at least 10 feet away, and inactive.  This means we are encouraging those shiny neon nerf gun colors, or at the very least, a colorful "tip".  This further means there should be absolutely no ammunition, even nerf-style foam bullets, and no gun sounds or fake smoke should be in use. All swords/knives must be kept sheathed, though prop rapiers may be used if the tips are capped and they are worn ornamentally.

At no times should weapons be brandished in public areas (this includes the breakfast room, the foyer, hallways, lobbies, elevators, etc.) or touch another player.  In short: Weapons should be carried solely for the purpose of making your costume look cool.

If you aren't certain whether your weapon prop will be allowed, please send us a picture, or you can show us on-site for last minute approval.
